Bush's Speech on Katrina relief plans
President Bush's speech in New Orleans on September 15 was a step in the right direction. Now, follow through with your promises quickly, President Bush and the entire federal government. I don't care about his delivery, dress, or surroundings. In fact, I don't like him nor will I ever like him and his Republican policies. I only care about the people of the gulf coast region, and speeding up assistance. As I've stated before, the feds are responsible for the dismal flood protection in New Orleans because of their lack of funding for flood protection improvement over the years. So now they need to step up and assist the people affected, and rebuild the New Orleans infrastructure and flood protection. The housing, hospital, etc. needs to be rebuilt in a sane, above sea level location. This time, build it right.
